Celtic suffered a surprise 1-0 loss against Aberdeen last Sunday in a game that saw a fierce contest between Scott Brown and Graeme Shinnie. At one point, the Celtic skipper was hit with a tough challenge by Graeme Shinnie which resulted in a yellow card.
Brown was not happy with the challenge and the pair exchanged words on the pitch while he received treatment.
Speaking in today's press conference, Brown claimed: "it'll take more than him to put me down." When asked how he felt about Shinnie's 'what goes around comes around' remark, Brown had an ominous answer.
Oh does it? We'll see.
Shinnie has had a good season this year and has been included in Alex McLeish's Scotland squad for the June friendlies. For Brown, attention now turns towards a Scottish Cup final against Motherwell this Saturday as the Hoops look to finish the season on a high.
