Sadio Mané was in the type of form that will have had Liverpool fans giddy with excitement ahead of the new season as he scored in a convincing win over Bayern Munich in their own backyard on Tuesday night.
The Senegalese winger kicked off the scoring after just seven minutes with a fantastic finish, and there was more great news as new signing Mohamed Salah continued his encouraging start by making it 2-0 with a close range finish.
Liverpool were comfortable throughout, and when Daniel Sturridge put the icing on the cake in the latter stages, he did so in style.
