Five of team which started Ireland's 1-0 win in Vienna against Austria back in November have already been ruled out for Friday's World Cup qualifier against Wales.
Shane Duffy, Ciaran Clark, Wes Hoolahan and Harry Arter are all injured while Robbie Brady is suspended. Further, James McCarthy also looks extremely doubtful for the game. Daryl Murphy, who would have been a useful option off the bench, has also been ruled out.
Despite the injury crisis, Roy Keane remained positive today about the game. Asked if Ireland would change their approach because of the injuries, Keane's response was brief - 'Well... no.'
The Ireland assistant manager also left no doubt about Ireland's mindset for the game.
If you think that our mindset going into the game on Friday night at the Aviva is a draw, then you are sadly mistaken.
We're here to win. Having known the players two or three years, we're here to win.
