Robbie Keane represented a Man Utd all-stars team assembled by Dimitar Berbatov on Wednesday night, and seemingly the Bulgarian hero had to call up a few pals to make up the numbers as the likes of Martin Petrov, David James, and our own Robbie Keane lined out in red to face a team of Luis Figo all-stars.
Keano has been in piping hot form this testimonial/legends season (and he would want to as he is technically still a pro without a club) having also scored a lovely goal at Old Trafford in Michael Carrick's testimonial, and there were flashes of brilliance as he rekindled his memorable partnership with Berbatov.
In fact, he was only denied a hat-trick because Carlos Marchena insisted on scoring an own goal for the first of Man Utd All Stars' in a 3-3 draw.
The scoring was opened by David Trezeguet with an absolute peach of a volley.
Then it was all about Robbie, goals either side of another strike from Trezeguet and former Benfica star Simao left the final score at 3-3.

There were some great faces on show, with the likes of Paul Scholes, the Neville brothers, Ryan Giggs, Patrice Evra, and Nemanja Vidic lining out for the Man Utd all stars, and then Deco, Robero Carlos, Robert Pires, and Maxwell linking up for Figo's team.
It seems like a great night, all for charity of course, and we are really loving the hunger that so many of the recently retired stars of the past two decades are showing for a bit of summer football.
Of course, it makes us badly wish we had Masters Football back on TV in a new and improved format...
