Things are not going well for Manchester United, and some supporters are already growing tired of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The performance at West Ham this afternoon was dire and offered very little encouragement in terms of what is to come moving forward.
The problems at the club run much deeper than just the manager however, and sacking him at this early stage would be a massive call.
One person who certainly wouldn't agree with the move is Rio Ferdinand. He is a big supporter20 of his former team mate, having famously declared United were 'back' after the win over PSG in March.
Yessss Ole is officially at The Wheel... Signed, Sealed, Delivered! Manager of @ManUtd! 🙌🏽 I hope my Thank You is in post Ole 🤣📝❤️ #MUFC #Ole pic.twitter.com/lUUel4f6zw

Despite the fact that United have won only five of their 19 games since, he still has faith.
Ferdinand spoke to The United Stand after today's game, who told him many supporters were calling for the Norwegian's head. The former England defender said to do so would be a big mistake.
Ole out for what? Are we going to keep changing managers every week, is that what everyone wants? You get a bad result, you change it.
Two weeks ago I didn't see people saying 'we want Ole out'. Now it's changed after two weeks.
It's knee-jerk. Sometimes you've just got to let a thing play out...
In today's game the thing you need, that not a lot of people get, is time. Look at Klopp, he didn't win for how many years?
He didn't win for three years, he got time to build his team. It's a different club I know, but you need time to build the squad that actually fits what you want.
Ferdinand certainly has a point, but United will have to turn things around sooner rather than later.
Otherwise, they could be looking at yet another managerial change.
