A truly ridiculous turn of weather has caused Manchester City's Champions League group stage opener with Borussia Monchengladbach to be postponed
A thunderstorm has hit and the city's metro services are down as a result, which made getting to the stadium very difficult regardless of the Noah's Ark style rain that came lashing down from above.
Footage has emerged on twitter that shows just how heavy the rain is.

And the photos don't make it look any better.

Yikes.
If you are in Manchester, don't make any unnecessary journeys.
Official confirmation came through after the teams had already been named, a major pain in the arse but nothing that could ultimately done.
