We were fully behind TV3's decision to give Richard Dunne his punditry debut during the Champions League quarter-finals, so naturally we were happy to him return for the semis.
Joined by Ireland manager Martin O'Neill, Dunne was on hand to give his verdict on his former club Manchester City's opponents Real Madrid, and after claiming that most would immediately look at their strength in attack, he claimed that their defence was there to be gotten at.
In particular, Dunne singled out Madrid full-back Marcelo, who wouldn't be the most enthusiastic defender, and his calm and measured disgust at the clips that showed the Brazilian's apparent allergy to tracking back was highly enjoyable.
Great stuff from Dunne, you can tell he would rather have had Stephen Ward by his side than a defender who is more concerned with tricks and flicks than getting goal-side of his man.
