Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan has been one of the most impressive players in Europe this season.
An all-around player with no weaknesses in his game, the man once dubbed 'ferret head' by Jim Beglin is a large part of the reason AS Roma lie in 2nd place in Serie A, just one point behind Juventus albeit with the Champions having a game in hand.
In the cup, however, Roma have progressed to the quarter-final stage as Nainggolan scored twice in a 4-0 win over Sampdoria on Thursday night. The first was an effortless banger that had Francesco Totti absolutely loving life on the bench.
And the second was a header after a beautifully timed surge forward and immaculate cross from Diego Perotti.
Oooooooooh-op op op op op op!
That about sums it up.
He's pop up at the edge of his own area with a crunching tackle, and he'll lead the line and bury a header like he did to seal the deal in the Coppa Italia tonight. A really, really good footballer.
