Renato Sanches is the 18-year-old Portuguese starlet that has impressed a lot of people at Euro 2016, and some folks are questioning whether or not he is as old as he says he is.
Long story short, Sanches' large physique for an 18-year-old lead some in Portugal to question his age. The Sporting Lisbon president was one of these, and he contacted the hospital that Sanches was born at to ask them to produce a birth certificate for the player.
That birth certificate appeared, but it later came out that Sanches' father registered his birth a full five years after he was born.
So questions remain. Until now.
A video of a young Sanches has appeared, which is dated as 2010 - six years ago.
The allegation put forward is that Sanches is about 23 or 24 years old right now, meaning that this kid in the video would be 18 or 19. He doesn't look much older than 12 or 13 to me. It even says he's 13 year's old, which makes sense - he'll be 19 next month.
