It took a little longer than expected.. But Paul Pogba has finally given Old Trafford a taste of what he is capable of.
He's played well at times, had moments of great skill, and even scored before, but you just knew the Man Utd fans were waiting for something special, and that was delivered against Fenerbache on the stroke of half time.
With United 2-0 up thanks to Pogba and Martial, both from the penalty spot, the ball fell to the former Juve man as the clock ticked into stoppage time... And he absolutely buried it.
A beautiful strike.
Clearly high on confidence, this is exactly what the fans wanted to see. Now if he can carry this into the Chelsea game at the weekend, then those who have defended him from the stick he has taken will be over the moon.
There's a long way to go yet, but he's up and running now.
