Yesterday it was confirmed Robbie Keane was to take charge of Indian Super League club ATK as a player-manager for today's clash with NorthEast United. His reign has gotten off to a decent start after ATK took an early lead thanks to their goalscoring forward, Robbie Keane.
Keane took charge after Ashley Westwood left the role, having initially been managed by Teddy Sheringham. Sheringham was sacked after a run of poor performances saw the club fail to make the League's semi-finals for the first time ever.
A long cross over the top freed Keane to slot home with a one-touch finish after just 10 minutes.
How about that for a finish by Robbie Keane!#LetsFootball #KOLNEU https://t.co/8eTsMlKvHe pic.twitter.com/Z6NOyqDgDN

Keane already holds a UEFA A licence and has been based in India since moving to the club last year. It ensures there is a slightly bizarre situation where manager Robbie Keane is heavily reliant on his star striker, who is also Robbie Keane.
What a man.
