Watch: Paul McShane Was Back To His Showboating Best At The Weekend

Jaap Stam's Reading have been in outstanding form of late, and their surprising comeback from 2-0 to win 3-2 at Bristol City at the weekend left them sitting pretty in 3rd place in the Championship behind Newcastle and Brighton.

While we knew Ireland U21 international Liam Kelly turned heads with a goal and an assist to drag Reading back into the game, we missed a moment of magic from their captain Paul McShane.

Handily enough, Reading's Facebook page published a video titled 'Moments You Missed' from the Bristol game, so we were able to catch Paul McShane's fancy footwork:

You don't see too many centre-backs pulling the Ronaldo chop out of the locker, but then again, the man known as Macca has shown off his flair before.

That clip reminded us of his delightful scoop-turn nutmeg, also during his time at Reading:

And then, who could forget his stepover while wearing the green of Ireland?

Also, we are 100% sure that Macca pulled off a flawless elastico to set up a goal for West Brom in 2007, but we can't find the footage after trawling the internet. If someone can find it and let us know that we didn't dream it, that would be fantastic and we would add it in here.

Either way, it's great to see McShane in such good form and having the confidence to do that sort of stuff. Up next for himself and Jaap Stam is a trip to Old Trafford, so hopefully the Kilpeddar native will use the Theatre Of Dreams as the stage for another moment of magic.
