Popular BBC One quiz show 'Pointless' is a trivia game show that tests it's contestants to the extreme by asking them to come up with answers to questions that are correct, but also that nobody else would answer if they were asked.
In other words, you'll be asked a question and you need to give the most obscure correct answer you can, it's good fun if you're skipping college or have called in sick for work.
We became alerted on twitter when we heard something about Paul McShane and 'Pointless' in the same tweet:
Paul McShane was just named as a pointless answer on Pointless. What a time to be alive!

Paul McShane was just a pointless answer on Pointless. Stop the show it doesn't get anymore obscure than that.

So we went hunting, and this is why Paul McShane was a pointless answer on 'Pointless'.
We can't understand why nobody would answer Paul McShane when asked to name a player from Hull City's promotion winning team of 2013, considering he was the scorer of the goal that actually got Hull promoted, but there you go.
Yet more injustice for Paul McShane.
