It may have been an unhappy end to their first ever World Cup game, as Los Canaleros fell to a 3-0 defeat to Belgium in Group G, but if the Panamanian pundits are anything to go by, the countries' debut on the world stage was a proud occasion for the people of Panama.
In a video tweeted by Sean Fay of Bleacher Report, two Panamanian football pundits watching their national anthem showed just how much the World Cup means to the country, as they passionately celebrated their team's first appearance at the World Cup.

Brilliant. And if I may dip into my box of trite football clichés, scenes like these are what the World Cup is really all about.
