We love a good teammates XI here on Balls.ie, and we love it even more when it's an Irish international picking the best players he's ever played with, but Richard Dunne's selection has us a bit perplexed.
Earlier today we drew attention to former Newcastle and Everton defender Steve Howey's XI, because he named Richard Dunne in it funnily enough and then talked to Paul Merson about how underrated he was, but Dunne has had a go of his own for PremierLeague.com, and only two Irishmen made the cut.
There's a strong @MCFC theme running through Richard Dunne's best #BPL XI made up former team-mates...https://t.co/m8NFCyWNbI

Shay Given;
Pablo Zabaleta, Sylvain Distin, James Collins, Michael Ball;
Shaun Wright-Phillips, Stiliyan Petrov, Jame Milner, Stewart Downing;
Robbie Keane, Charlie Austin.
Charlie Austin? He must have made a very big impression on Dunne last season. It's also interesting to see how Aston Villa heavy the side is, but then again Richard Dunne played for a very different Manchester City to the one that exists today.
For a more impressive Irish international teammate XI, we highly reccomend Ian Harte's 90s Dream Team which you can find below.
