I'm not going to lie, a large part of me wasn't overly happy that England managed to equalise against Wales. Perhaps it's the general not wanting England to well, maybe it's the wanting Wales to do well. Or maybe it's the bet I had on Wales to win at a tasty 5/1.
Even still, when Jamie Vardy scored in the 55th minute - there were unanimous cries of offside. Even when the first replay was shown, Vardy was standing several yards offside as the ball came to him:
Sturridge scores one and is involved in the other. World class player and some were questioning him going.https://t.co/cvdIXsIDMW

But the assistant did admitedly exceptionally well. The ball was headed back by Welsh defender Ashley Williams, which means that Vardy is onside and free to score the goal to annoy non-English fans everywhere.
I commend the BBC commentator for saying Vardy was 'fractionally offside' initially when it's at least three yards.
Our favourite English presenter Richard Keys also commended the officials, but still wondered why the linesman didn't flag - despite getting it right?
Somehow the officials have got that right - but surely the lino should still flag?

You figure it out.
