Barcelona had a great night in the Copa Del Rey against Gary Neville's Valencia as Leo Messi bagged a hat-trick to bring up his 500th career goal.

The score finished 7-0, but it could have been more if not for a very strange standoff between Neymar and Valencia's Aussie goalkeeper Matt Ryan.

Neymar opted for the short run-up from Pro Evo 5, but Ryan didn't budge and the Brazilian eventually struck the post with his effort:

That did not go as planned.

Thankfully for Neymar the miss didn't matter, although if Valencia win 8-0 in the return leg he may have something to answer for.
