Well that didn't take long.
As recently as last week you could have heard the instantly recognisable sound of West Ham fans telling everyone who could hear them that they just don't understand, that Dimitri Payet was better than Zidane. But things can change quickly in football, and when you've spent the last year proclaiming your love for a footballer that then decides he couldn't be arsed anymore, seemingly out of the blue... That hurts.
Rather than let a perfectly good tune die out, the West Ham fans have reworked their favourite chant so that it's still relevant, and Payet will still have his name sang from the terraces of London's Olympic Stadium, albeit not in a very positive manner.

Like a nasty ending to a relationship, only with more people... And more singing.
It seems as though West Ham have employed a security guard to prevent Payet's image at the stadium from being defaced.

An ugly situation, he was worshiped by the West Ham fans, but has well and truly messed them about and match-going supporters are rarely shy when it comes to letting you know if they don't like you.
Now all that's left to do is sell the guy.
