Liverpool's £66 million pound man was in Europa League action last night for RB Leipzig in their first leg tie against Zenit St. Petersburg.
Leipzig won out 2-1 in the Red Bull Arena, and Naby Keita was instrumental in their second goal. The midfielder picked up the ball in his own half and drove forward, gliding past several Zenit players before splitting the defence with a through ball. Leipzig striker Timo Werner latched onto the ball and delightfully lifted the ball over the onrushing Lunyov.
Take a look:
Keita is set to join the Reds in the Summer, Leipzig having agreed a deal with the Merseyside club last Summer for the Guinean for a reported £66 million. The 23-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Bundesliga side scoring 7 goals and the creative midfielder will go some way to plugging the hole left by Philipe Coutinho's departure to Barcelona.
Keita's team mate Timo Werner also has the Premier League in his sights, recently talking up potential moves to both Man United and Liverpool.
