With the addition of Romelu Lukaku to Old Trafford this summer, Manchester United's elaborate pre-planned celebrations should rise roughly 33% as the Belgian joins the likes of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard as players who are fond of taking the latest pop culture trends to the pitch.
While dabbing has thankfully been pronounced dead by Pogba himself, elaborate secret handshakes are becoming more and more prevalent in the modern game (Spurs absolutely love them), and while there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a bit of fun with your pals after scoring a goal... There is a large portion of football fans who think they are absolute nonsense.
Juan Mata and Ander Herrera have now spoken for 'proper football men' everywhere who have little time for such notions after scoring a goal, and unveiled their own special handshake in response.
The bromance continues to blossom, it may be rivalled by Pogba & Lukaku, and Lingard & Rashford these days, but it's still going strong.
It will be interesting to see if they actually do this handshake at some stage after scoring, or merely wanted to take a light-hearted pop at Pogba and Lukaku getting all the attention this summer.
They both have haircuts you could set your watch by as well, by the way.
