Former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel was well loved on Merseyside, but it certainly wasn't for his ability to carry the ball out of defence and score from outside the box.
That would be something you might expect from his long-term centre-back partner Daniel Agger, but on Friday the big scary-looking Slovakian scored himself a seriously impressive solo goal.
After turning on the burners and gliding past four defenders who clearly didn't try hard enough to close him down because they were happy to allow a defender such freedom, Skrtel beat the keeper with a low finish.
Sadly for Martin, Fenerbache were beaten 3-2 by Konyaspor and sit in 4th place in the Turkish Super Lig.
The supporters are not happy, and things are not looking great for the club with Besiktas 10 points clear of them with a game in hand.
Still, fair play to Skrtel for the goal.
