Sam Allardyce decided against including Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford for his squad to kick off England's World Cup qualifying campaign against Slovakia, but he may reconsider when the time comes to pick his next panel.
England's strikers again failed to perform, as a late, late Adam Lallana goal was needed to beat 10-man Slovakia, but Marcus Rashford scored three times on his U21 debut to continue his incredible run of scoring on debuts alive in style.
Allardyce was in the stands and looked delighted as the camera panned to him, and understandably so as Rashford effortlessly collected the match ball without breaking a sweat.
I see @MarcusRashford is doing all he can to go under the radar again ??

Marcus Rashford has scored for @England under-21s. Wonder if our new England boss will ever be brave and veer away from tried and failed.

The big question now is; does he start in the Manchester Derby on Saturday?
Having rescued Man Utd's perfect start to the season with a last-gasp winner at Hull, and looking far more of a threat than Anthony Martial did from the start, calls to include Rashford from the start will be deafening for Jose Mourinho.
One thing is for sure, and that is that Marcus Rashford won't be getting too many caps for the England U21s from now on.
