Manchester City's match-going fans (not all of them it must be said) have been the but of every joke on social media and have been condemned for their actions by football fans all over the world for their disrespect to Manuel Pellegrini by leaving the stadium out of disgust at a 2-2 draw against Arsenal when a farewell for the manager who brought them a league title had been planned.
And a lot of it is fully justified. Pellegrini is a manager who is universally respected for being, above all else, a very nice man, and to see the fans that once sang his name from the stands essentially abandon him resulted in truly cringy viewing on Sunday evening as the show went on as intended despite there glaringly obvious lack on interest.
However, the worst part was when they played a video of his "best moments" at Man City to everyone in the stadium, and the final clip was asking him if he thought the City fans were the best in the world.
In this case the pictures tell a thousand words, so just watch.

That is genuinely heartbreaking.
What a shitty thing for those fans who walked out to do. For the most part Pellegrini did a good job of hiding how much it hurt him, but that clip just drives home how difficult that must have been.
