It's no secret that Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is a great guy.
Just last week we reported on the letter of congratulations that he sent to a family in Tipperary on the birth of their new son, but now we're back celebrating his kindness after Manchester United's loss to Borussia Dortmund on a pre-season tour of China.
Demba Ba unfortunately broke his leg last weekend while playing for Shanghai Shenhua, something Luke Shaw knows all about having suffered the same misfortune last season, and after the match the young Englishmen sent his wishes for the former Newcastle striker.

Keeping your friends and family close is, of course, good advice, but having seen the images of Ba post surgery it seems that the only people at his bedside initially were Chinese TV crews.
The player who was involved in the incident where Ba broke his leg also visited him, as well as his Shenhua teammates, so hopefully Ba's recovery goes well.
It's good to see Shaw reaching out with a message of support. What a lovely guy.
