Manchester United suffered a loss in Denmark tonight that will have to be in contention for the low-point of an utterly miserable season, although it has been so bad that there are a number of other results that could claim that title.
David De Gea got injured in the warm-up, making the situation even worse if that was at all possible, and all eyes were on Louis Van Gaal's post-match interview as the pressure surrounding his status as Manchester United manager will surely grow once more.
When he did appear in front of the camera, Louis Van Gaal pointed to David De Gea's absence as a reason for the loss, and mentioned 'Murphy's Law' to sum up how bad a night it was.

Murphy's law is an adage or epigram that is typically stated as: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
Ridiculous. Sergio Romero had an excellent game in goal for United, and stopped the result from being 5-1, so to suggest that De Gea's injury played any sort of role in the loss is absurd.
And as for Murphy's Law, yes there are a long like of injuries, but why are there no capable replacements for those missing? No signings in January was essentially waving the white flag for the rest of the season, and the squad was already far too thin when the season started.
The fact that Donald Love and Paddy McNair are being called on to get a result in Europe shows that the team is not equipped to cope with the demands placed on the squad, and that is the fault of Van Gaal and Ed Woodward, who both have a hell of a lot to answer for in this total shit-show of a season.
