It's been a long 30 years since Liverpool were crowned the best team in England, but the wait would have been worth it for their fans. It may have come about in odd circumstances, but this is the culmination of a four near five year journey.
It all started with the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, in what has to go down as one of the best managerial appointments in modern football. He took them from mediocrity to champions of Europe and now England.
The club know they have a special manager on their hands, and they paid tribute to him and his players tonight.
Liverpool released a spine tingling video to mark the occasion of their first title in 30 years. It is some watch.
