John Delaney, along with other members of the FAI, will this morning appear before the Oireachtas Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9am. However, there is likely to be some private business discussed first. The open session will start at 10am.
A second session is scheduled for 3pm this afternoon.
High on the agenda will be questions regarding the €100,000 bridging loan which Delaney provided to the FAI in 2017.
Sport Ireland yesterday suspended funding to the FAI after the association admitted it had breached rules regarding the body's provision of grants.
FAI president Donal Conway; chairperson of the committee on legal and corporate affairs Paraic Treanor; honourary treasurer Eddie Murray and interim chief executive Rea Walshe will be those attending alongside executive vice-president John Delaney.
The committee will be chaired by Fine Gael TD Fergus O'Dowd.
Oireachtas live streaming is provided by the Houses of the Oireachtas Service, in association with HEAnet, Ireland's National Educational and Research Network.
