Celtic looked to have made their Champions League qualification journey difficult for themselves once again as they entered the final 15 minutes of their first-leg match with Astana trailing 1-0.
The home side took the lead in the first half, but Brendan Rodgers' men ensured that they left Kazakhstan with something as Leigh Griffiths once again delivered.
Some great work by Patrick Roberts chasing a lost cause presented Griffiths with a chance, his only real chance of the game, and he took it in ruthless fashion.
That was a vital goal for Celtic, who now have a slight advantage heading into the home leg at Celtic park next week after the final whistle was blown with the score at 1-1 despite a few late scares for the Scottish side.
Celtic now have a great chance to advance from the Champions League Third qualifying round, and the return leg will be played at the more convenient time of 7.45pm on Wednesday, August 3rd.
