Kolo Toure is a gas character.
The former Arsenal and Man City defender is well loved by Liverpool fans, more so for his personality off the pitch than his performances on it, but that's not to say he's been bad. In fact, Kolo has been surprisingly solid for Liverpool this season despite his advancing years and even bagged his first goal for the club in that crazy match at Villa Park.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's League Cup Final against Manchester City, Kolo delivered the type of promo we are used to seeing before big fights in the UFC as he warned his brother Yaya Toure that he will do anything to prevent the City midfielder from scoring.
When asked if he would take his brother out if he was bearing down on goal, his reply was emphatic:
Big time. Take him out.
Because I want to win, that's it. I think he knows me, and he knows that if he's going to score a goal, anything, ANYTHING I can do to stop him, I will. He knows that.
Sibling rivalry at it's finest.
It should be a cracker of a cup final if Liverpool's meetings with City in the Premier League are anything to go by, and now we're expecting some Toure on Toure violence to top it all off.
And, just because it's one of the best videos around, here's Steven Gerrard leading the Kolo Yaya Toure chant with the Liverpool squad last summer:
