Every Irish football fan knows that Kevin Kilbane is a man of many talents, having shown the ability to go from a left winger to a left full-back in his Ireland career, but the viewers of TV3's celebrity cooking show 'The Restaurant' got a chance to see just how impressive the former Everton man is when he is asked to run a kitchen.
Charged with crafting a menu and overseeing the production of three courses for a busy restaurant full of food critics, Zinedine Kilbane opted for a number of risky calls including a Sea Bass dish that could have gone very wrong, but in the end those who were tasked with picking holes in Kilbane's decisions instead spent a solid few minutes telling him how great he was.
A resounding success. One critic even told Kilbane he should open a restuarant himself.
The final verdict game in, and a delighted Kilbane gave a typically footballer 'post-match' interview in celebration:
Fair play Kevin!
Our love of the man only continues to grow with the knowledge that he could run a restaurant with ease.
