RTÉ's 'Know The Score' was back on our screens this Sunday evening, which offered a nice way to round off an outstanding weekend of Irish sport.
Former Republic of Ireland international and all around great bloke Kevin Kilbane was on Shane Byrne's team this week, but he will be going to sleep at night wondering how the hell he managed to mess up a gimme of a question about the 2002 World Cup.
Ask anyone who was alive at the time who scored Ireland's first goal in the 2002 World Cup, a draw with Cameroon, and they will most likely instinctively blurt out Matt Holland, but sadly for Killer, he must have just assumed that Kevin Sheedy was the answer to every possible Irish football quiz question... Which isn't that outrageous of an assumption to make.
Considering that Kevin Kilbane played in this match, and is good mates with Matt Holland, he'll be raging with this.
Kevin Sheedy???
An absolute clanger.
We'll forgive him, just about, because it's hard to remain angry at the man, but Kevin, make sure to listen carefully to the question. Have they taught you nothing over at 'Off The Ball'?!
