Yesterday, while Manchester United were busy unveiling their star signing, Manchester City confirmed the contract extension of Kevin De Bruyne.
De Bruyne has been City's best player this year. The man at the heart of Guardiola's midfield is a wonderful creator with the combination of his vision and accuracy resulting in some outstanding goals already this year.
He's at it again tonight, with a superb turn and pass to free Sergio Aguero and confirm Manchester City's progression to the Carabao Cup Final.
There are several talented players within City's squad this year but De Bruyne is the man who makes them tick. There is plenty to be said for Aguero's finish too, with the Argentian bringing his record to 139 goals in 200 games for City.
As for tonight, the score is currently 2-1 or 4-2 on aggregate.
