Fresh from a Champions League 5-2 triumph, Jurgen Klopp watched his Liverpool team succumb to a 0-0 draw against Stoke City at Anfield. It was a frustrating day for Klopp who felt aggrieved that a penalty had not been awarded for an Erik Pieters handball late in the game.
Before the game, the Liverpool boss had explicitly asked the home fans to turn up and support their team. In his pre-match notes, he said "We need you today more than at any point this season." Throughout he could be seen gesturing to the fans and in his post-match conference he bemoaned their reactions during the game.

It was a sentiment shared online.
Atmosphere needs to be improved 2nd half. Klopp said give the players the noise they deserve after Tuesday. That's a fair comment.

Come on Anfield. Make some f*cking noise for the team who's about to get in the Champions League Final.

Guess the crowd chose to ignore Klopp with bringing a great atmosphere!

To be fair, Klopp asked for an atmosphere and got fuck all

Liverpool do not have a home game now until mid-May, with an away trip to Roma and then Chelsea next up.
