Manchester United's disastrous preseason caught up with them today as they fell to a 3-2 defeat in the Premier League at the hands of Chris Hughton's Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.
Goals from Glenn Murray, Shane Duffy and Pascal Groß ensured Jose Mourinho's side fell to their first loss of the season. A goal from Romelu Lukaku and a late Paul Pogba penalty was not enough to cover for the defensive cracks as their inability to secure a centre-back continues to haunt them.
Jose Mourinho's unhappiness was apparent post-match and the 55-year-old told Bein Sports the team were punished for their errors. The Man United boss was evidently irritated by a question about the team's communication.
You must be fantastic in your job to have the ability to speak about the chemistry between players.

Attention will now turn towards Mourinho's reportedly fraught relationship with vice-chairman Ed Woodward, who visited the team dressing room after today's loss.
