Ireland fans love Jon Walters. It's not a secret.
Anyone who puts in the effort that he does while wearing the green shirt will always endear themselves to the supporters, and when you can chip in with a few massive goals here and there like Walters has done, you'll soon find yourself in the "legend" category.
Jon Walters knows that we love him too, but even he was left lost for words by some of the tweets that Setanta Sports presented to him ahead of Ireland's friendly with Holland.

He's some man to be fair.
You get the feeling that he doesn't really know what to make about all the fuss over him, but he's going to have to get used to it, especially if he continues his excellent form for Ireland in France.
