Now viewed by experts to be arguably the greatest man to ever have existed, Jon Walters spoke to RTÉ's Tony O'Donoghue after his two-goal haul sent Ireland to France 2016.
An emotional Walters was almost rendered speechless by the magnitude of what he and Ireland achieved, but composed himself enough to thank his family, who were sat in the stands.
It was essentially a warm-up for his Ballon D'Or speech next January. Here's the superb interview in full:
