What a disastrous night for Celtic.
When you come away from a Champions League qualifier debating whether or not the result was the worst in the entire history of you club, you know it's not gone according to plan, and for Brendan Rodgers the term "nightmare start" has never been more appropriate.
Celtic will likely thrash Lincon Red Imps, who beat them 1-0 in Gibraltar on Tuesday night, in the return leg in Glasgow, but that is beside the point as with only two weeks until the next round of qualifiers, Rodgers will need to get his players up to standard.
That is something that Celtic legends Johan Mjallby and John Hartson, who were watching the match in the BT Sport studio, think will be difficult for him to do unless he is given money to spend on quality players.
So bad Hartson could only laugh.
New signing Mousa Dembele featured, but it's clear that far more investment is needed to get that club to where they want to be. Having won the league by 15 points last season and sacking manager Ronny Deila, it's clear that Champions League football is what Rodgers will have been brought in to secure, and failure to do so could be disastrous.
