It's safe to say that £42m signing Eliaquim Mangala hasn't hit the heights expected of his at Manchester City, as the French defender has been made to look rather silly on a number of occasions, most recently by Shane Long this past weekend.
Well, he's been made to look very average again as he came on as a first-half replacement for the injured Vincent Kompany.
Jese, the Real Madrid winger, is not someone you could call a "physical" player, but the ease with which he kept Mangala away from the ball while channeling his inner Jon Walters was truly comical to watch. Unless you're a City fan.
And from that day on he was known as Jese Walters.
In all seriousness, that is embarrassing for Mangala as he dealt with that situation terribly. Jese did an OK job of protecting the ball from the City man's half-assed attempts, but to really see the art of shielding the ball, there is nowhere else to look than Big Jon in his element:
