As everybody with internet access knows, Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy equalled a Premier League record by scoring in his 10th consecutive match against Newcastle on Saturday.
In the build up to the game it was unsure whether or not Vardy would start due to a niggling injury, but he did start the match and scored to help his side to a 3-0 win, taking them top of the Premier League.
In 2012, Jamie Vardy was playing non-league football, so to see him where he is now is absolutely fantastic, but it's very clear that Vardy hasn't forgotten his roots after watching the speech he gave to his teammates in the St.James' Park dressing room:
‼️10 in 10 @vardy7‼️
Happy for you! ??

That is amazing.
10 goals in 10 games? Not bothered, beers on the plane lads.
Jamie Vardy is a hero.
