Watch: Jamie Carragher's Analysis Of The Vardy Sending Off Was Absolutely Spot On

The biggest talking point from the past weekend of Premier League action was without a doubt Jamie Vardy's sending off for 'diving' against Leicester City, a decision which saw referee John Moss resoundingly booed and criticised in the moments and hours that followed.

There seemed to be a debate that split football fans, some thinking it was a soft sending off, and others even thought that it should have been a penalty, but Jamie Carragher dissected the incident on MNF, and it's hard to argue with his views.

In particular, his analysis of the referee making a better angle for himself to ultimately get the decision correct was spot on, and the type of analysis that has seen him earn plaudits for his work in the Sky Sports studio.

It was clearly an attempt to win a penalty and a deserved booking. Vardy's reaction to the ref catching him out was ridiculous and has rightly been punished by the FA.
