Say what you want about Soccer AM, there are a number of segments that are a hit every week.
One of them is 'You Know The Drill', a challenge where Jimmy Bullard visits a different club every week and has one of their coaches put him through his paces in a technical training drill, often against one of the club's best young players.
This week, however, Leeds United coach, former Southampton striker, James Beattie fancied the challenge himself, and it's easy to see why. Beattie can still absolutely bang them, and when he went head to head with Bullard it made for great TV.
That looked like a ridiculous amount of fun, if a bit exhausting.
James Beattie scored 23 Premier League goals in the 02/03 season, so fair play to Bullard for hanging in there with him, but he is well used to being pushed to the limits of a retired footballer for the benefit of Soccer AM.
