This lockdown is testing us but it's also bringing out our decency.
The brilliant story of Nathan, the solo goalie who took the internet by storm earlier in the week, took another beautiful twist in the last 24 hours, as Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland facetimed Nathan to give him a goalkeeping tutorial. We wouldn't have had much of an opinion either way on Butland, but for him to take the time out to ring Ireland and chat to the young man is a measure of class.
Butland had retweeted the original video from Nathan's mom earlier in the week.
Brilliant idea! They say you've got to be crazy to be a keeper but sometimes you have to be clever as well 💡 https://t.co/sNaPjejOEh

Today he's gone a step further and actually rang Nathan up to dispense some valuable goalkeeping advice. In the video, Butland and Nathan (in his trademark Leeds United) chat away about goalkeeping positioning and technique.
With retweets from De Gea and Schmeichel, offers of lessons from Ben Foster, a pair of signed gloves from Azmir Begovic and now this call from Butland, Nathan has officially entered the Goalkeepers Union.
