The police in Bordeaux may be happy to see the back of the Irish fans. The streets of Paris were impassable with a sea of Irish supporters earlier this week, and now the scene has repeated itself in the South of France in the aftermath of that defeat to Belgium. This video was posted on our Euro 2016 Facebook group by reader Jeff Hoey, and shows the great patience of the French police, who manage to take the blocking of their patrol car with quite good humour:
It is further testament to the patience of the Bordeaux police, who earlier this week went down the 'can't beat them, join them' path in relation to one hell of a shindig in city tunnel.
It's over to you, Lille.
