Manchester United are out of the Carabao Cup. The defending champions were dumped out tonight by Bristol City with a stunning 93rd-minute winner.
United will not join Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea in the semi-final. They had gone behind early on due to a Joe Byran goal but a Zlatan Ibrahimović free-kick dragged Jose Mourinho's side back into the competition.
It seemed like the game was destined for extra-time until in the 93rd minute, when Korey Smith poked the ball past Romero and instigated manic celebrations at Ashton Gate. A minute later the referee blew the final whistle and the Bristol City fans invaded the pitch.
It sparked absolute scenes after the game.
"This is what dreams are made of!"

Bristol City are enjoying a phenomenal year so far and are currently third in the Championship. They looked totally at ease against a strong United side and looked full value for their victory.
