We have been watching football for a very long time, and this stage we had seen pretty much every type of goal. Screamers, overhead kicks, tap-ins, free-kicks, we see them all the time.
We're not sure we've ever seen a goal like this one though.
LASK were taking on Mattersburg in the Austrian Bundesliga yesterday in a game which would eventually finish 7-2 to the home side. A mad scoreline, but that was not the most remarkable thing about the game.
LASK's fourth goal, scored by Marko Raguz, was one of the most unique strikes we've seen. The player's original attempt was blocked by a defender, so he would then go on to scoop the ball into the air and steer it home with an overhead kick, all while lying on his back.
Take a look at this:
Definitely a unique strike. The result meant LASK remain in second place in the table, with Matterburg sit eighth in the 12-team league.
