Jurgen Klopp's introduction to the Premier League has, thus far, been everything fans and viewers could have imagined.
It's a testament to the Liverpool manager's likeability that you won't even hear a bad word said about him by United fans. In an era where football bosses are almost exclusively boring, he's breathed some life back into a stagnant managerial scene, and has his side playing football which matches his colourful persona.
As you might imagine, however, 'Kloppo' doesn't go balls-in for Fußball alone. Recently, the former Borussia Dortmund top dog took to the ping-pong table for a showdown with his footballing prodigies Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, and once more proved himself an absolute wildman.
Klopp was joined by reigning UK university champion Liu Haoyu - a student of 'Chinese athlete of the century' and 18-time table tennis world champion, Deng Yaping. Liverpool recorded the extremely tense and highly amusing encounter at Melwood, with the Brazilian pair showing no shortage of skill as they took the first set.
Klopp, however, was only getting warmed up, and even though he on one occasion swung so hard he literally lost his bat, he found his rhythm with significant aplomb. It's a fantastic watch, particularly for Liverpool fans, and as you can imagine, the boss man steals the show.
With Klopp lacing his bat off the wall an obvious highlight, Philipe Coutinho is also due some credit for scoring what looked like a legitimate point against Liu - sparking a surprised "Good!" reaction from the young supertalent.
Errors, however, were to be Team Brazil's downfall, and both Couthinho and Firmino will require significant pick-me-ups ahead of Liverpool's home game with Swansea at 12:30pm tomorrow.
