Never mind John McGinn, Harry Wilson is the new flavour of the month when it comes to spectacular goals. The Welsh youngster was in action for Derby tonight against Man United and showed why he is the youngest player ever to play for Wales.
United had got off to the perfect start in the 3rd minute when Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard and Mata combined to great effect, with the Spaniard stroking the ball home to open the scoring:
But Frank Lampard's Derby didn't wilt, though Lukaku will be upset he wasn't able to capitalise on a Richard Keogh error to double United's lead.United would end up taking their lead into the break, though Wilson stepped up in the 59th minute, roughly 30 yards from goal, and proceeded to stroke home a magnificent free kick which left Sergio Romero rooted to the spot:
Things were to get worse for United in the 67th minute when Romero found himself in no man's land, the Argentinian handling the ball, leading to his dismissal.With a man advantage Derby pressed, and although Lukaku hit the post it was the Rams that would take the lead, Jack Marriott heading the ball in from close range after sub keeper Lee Grant palmed the ball out to the striker:
But despite this, United did not give up with the much maligned Marouane Fellaini heading the leveller in the 95th minute:
