Looks lads, be it in football, rugby, cricket, or tiddlywinks, there's nothing quite like watching England lose. Us Irish love a good giggle over the sporting misfortunes of our neighbours across the water.
Call us bitter, call us what you want really, but we think it's hilarious.
Anyway, continuing in that vein, the England U21s have been eliminated from the European Championships after a 4-2 defeat to Romania. It came in dramatic fashion too, with all six goals coming in the final 15 minutes.
With the game tied at 1-1 with five minutes, Ianis Hagi stepped up with a cracking strike to put Romania in the lead.
Ianis is of course the son of Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi, who starred for both Real Madrid and Barcelona in the 1990's. He seems a bit of baller, taking after his auld lad.
While Tammy Abraham would quickly restore parity for England, a Dean Henderson mistake would hand Romania the advantage once more. Look at this for an absolute howler from the Manchester United goalkeeper.
Dean Henderson has made a howler here to all but give Romania the win!
Just the third goal in the space of five minutes...

Romania weren't finished there. They made sure of the three points with their fourth goal of the evening, and this one was the pick of the lot.
It was Florinel Coman who got it, with a perfectly executed volley that left Henderson helpless.
I LOVE YOU ROMANIA!!! Absolutely AMAZING goal scored by Coman in the dying seconds of the game against England! Romania 4-2 England. pic.twitter.com/Alx8Lsb01Q

That result will see England eliminated from the tournament, having also lost their opener to France in dramatic fashion.
You hate to see it.
