As the West Ham fans decided to smash up the Manchester United team bus so that we could all enjoy Upton Park for a little bit longer on Sky Sports this evening, we knew we were going to get some eye-roll worthy stuff as the crew tried to fill the void.
However, we did not expect Martin Tyler to achieve 'peak Martin Tyler'.
And yet... He did. With the pitch-side collection of legends such as Marlon Harewood and Anton Ferdinand struggling badly to waffle on a continuous loop, we were treated to a chat between Martin Tyler and Alan Smith in the studio. The pair discussed how big a game it was before Tyler decided to draw attention to the fact that Ray Winstone was right behind them...
He simply couldn't resist the opportunity for one last shit pun at Upton Park.
