Argentina beat Ecuador by just one goal to nil overnight on Friday. Ordinarily, a game like that sounds pretty boring - it was a warm-up to the Copa America so why should anyone except for die-hards care?
Well two reasons. One; Lionel Messi was forced off with an injury, two; Gonzalo Higuain scored a filthy goal. Just pure filth.
Messi now faces a race against time to be back before the start of the tournament - which will begin with USA taking on Colombia next week. The Barcelona magician limped off with a back injury which the AFA categorised as "a trauma to the left side of his lower back and rib cage".
On to more positive news, and take a look at this from Napoli striker Higuain. The assist came from Man United's Marcos Rojo - but it's all about Gonzalo Higuain's Dennis Bergkamp impression with a dirty goal.
I may have Neville-gasmed on seeing it at first. And I'm not ashamed of that.
Why not watch Bergkamp's again. Any excuse really.
